I take an interdisciplinary approach to what I do. I consider myself a designer, builder and artist. My intention is to create conscious design that reflects the needs of the context with the aim of proposing alternatives in the social, political and environmental organization of space in the time and place surrounding us.

Comfortable in both traditional and new media, I engage myself in a broad range of projects, issues and actives. I combine activism, art, technology, city planning, gardening, and social critique as the tools in my toolbox

My interest is to change the practice of art from detachment to engagement and enable interactive, participatory works in order to foster a dialogue about the way in which we construct society and contest our shared social reality. My present projects involve data visualization from participant surveys and building works that create places for public interaction.

Born in Belarus, Minsk(former USSR) moved to New York when I was nine, currently reside in Oakland, California as home base.
